Dal Makhni


Dal makhani is rich, creamy and delicious lentils prepared by mixing 2-3 pulses and beans. It is a famous Punjabi food.
Ingredients :-
Whole black gram khadi urad dal - 0.5 cup
Split Black Gram - 0.25
Rajma kidney beans - 4 tbsp
Chana dal - 2 tablespoons
Water - 4 cups
salt to taste
For tempering
Desi Ghee clarified butter - 3 tablespoons
Oil - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Finely chopped garlic - 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 4 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - - small spoon
Tomato puree - 1 cup
Roasted gram flour - 1 tbsp
Finely chopped coriander
Fresh Cream - 2 Tbsp
Butter - 2 tablespoons
salt to taste
Kasuri fenugreek dried fenugreek leaves - ried small spoon
To garnish
Coriander leaves to alternate garnish
Ghee / Butter / Cream - 1 teaspoon
Method :-
1.sabse pahle ek pan le us mein ghee garam Kare phir us mein cumin seeds dale phir chopped garlic dale and thoda fry kare
2.ab turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Coriander powder, garan masale powder and black pepper powder dale
3.ab tomato paste dale aur thodi der pakaye
4.ab roasted gram flour le us mein thoda Pani mix Kare aur pan mein dal Kar acchi tarah mix Kar le
5.ab chopped coriander leaves and salt dale phir boiled lentils dale aur acchese mix karle phir 1,½ cup pani dale aur mix karle
6.ab butter and thoda cream dale aur thodi kasuri methi dal Kar mix karle aur thodi der pakane de
7.ab Dal Makhani ban Kar taiyar hai garama garam Dal Makhani ko rice or roti ke sath surve Kare.
