Palak Paneer
Palak Paneer
Smooth creamy spinach cheese made from fresh spinach leaves, cottage cheese, onions, herbs and spices. I have one of the most favorite dishes in my family and I hope it becomes yours too. If dairy products are vegetarian or allergic, add tofu instead and skip the cream altogether or use coconut cream.
Ingredients :-
- Roughly chopped spinach 1 cup
- 1 or 2 green chillies chopped
- 1 or 2 small to medium garlic cloves chopped
- ½ inch ginger chopped
- 3 cups of water to blanch the spinach
other ingredients
- 1 small sized onion chopped
- 1 small sized tomato chopped
- 4 to 5 small to medium garlic cloves chopped
- 1 Spoon Cumin
- 1 Spoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 Spoon Red Chili Powder
- 1 pinch hing
- ¼ tspn garam masala powder
- 1 small to medium tej patta
- 200 to 250 grams paneer
- ⅓ to ½ cup water
- 1 tbspn cream
- 2 tbspn oil or ghee
- 1 teaspoon kasuri methi leaves
- salt to taste
For garnishing
- 1 tbspn cream
Method :-
Spinach puree
1.sabse pahle palak ko Pani se acchi tarah wash karle
2.ab ek pan le us mein 3 cup Pani garam Kare aur 1 pinch salt dale phir us mein palak dale aur boil hone de 1 minute ke liye, 1 minute ke baad palak ko palak ko thoda thanda hone de phir ek jar le us mein palak dale ginger, garlic and green chillies dale aur ek soft paste bana le aur thanda hone rakh de
Making Palak Paneer
1.ab ek pan le us mein 2 tbspn oil dale phir 1 spoon cumin seeds dale onion dale, tomato dale aur phir turmeric powder dale ,red chilli powder dale, garam masala and aalt dale aur mix kare
2.ab us mein palak ki puree dale aur 1 cup pani dale aur pakaye puree thick hone tak and phir paneer ke cubes dale aur mix kare aur thodi der pakaye aur phir ek bowl mein nikal le aur upar se kasuri methi dale aur cream se garnish kare
3.ab hamari tasty palak paneer ban Kar taiyar hai khane ke liye palak paneer ko garama garam surve Kare roti or pulav me sath.
